Yay, update...

Alaot has happened since... uhhh... october, i think was the last time I did this. Turkey Break is winding down now, and that's a tid-bit depressing, but my 30 page Morality research paper is done, so that's a plus. Oh, yes, I almost forgot...

Bombers are going to State!!!!!!!!!!!
It was great, last night we beat some useless team from Columbus so we get to play Massilon in Canton for the state title. Last night's game was crazy... Harrison invited me to go with him to the game... only he invited too many people, so his parents and then 6 teenagers squashed into his car (designed to comfortably fit 7) and drove up to Miami. It was worth it though, even if we only won 17-10.

TX informational meeting about Mortal Saints on Tues... I'm worried, I dunno what to do. I would love to try out (cause it's a comedy, and not a full-scale production), but I do not know if I will have the time. I'm sure if I did try out and made it, I would be able to get by, but I'm afraid of what I'm going to have to sacrifice in return for it... I already had to give up piano lessons earlier this year just cause of the crazy amount of homework that comes with Junior year. But if I don't try out, then I feel like I'm turning my back on a bunch of my friends in TX, which is totally illogical, but people can feel guilty for stupid things all the time. "That is why guilt is not your conscience" - Mr. Gresham.... sorry, Morality class = brainwashing (otherwise there'd be no surviving it).

Anywho, I'm rambling, so leave a comment and stop by later... I can't promise you that my next update will be quicker than this one, but I'll make an effort... if anyone reads this thing...

Wow that weekend was unusual. I ended up spending most of my saturday and sunday with one Mr. Alex Pendl. It was quite enjoyable. We raided Chipotle, watched Pulp Fiction, and had a very long spree of Halo 2 fun. Now that I'm back at home I'm terribly bored and dreading returning to my room to study for my AP US History Test tomorrow. My xanga is dying... I don't post much anymore, I don't really care, and I believe that the number of people who actually read this can be counted on one hand. Oh yea, we watched Family Guy too... it was fun.

Homework sucks. I really enjoy school, I get to see all my friends every day and there's all the superfluous clubs I participate in, but homework just blows. I went over to my friend's house last night and watched Goodfellas. That is a strange, but interesting movie. Seems to drag on forever then end on a dime though. I gotta work every day of the 3 day weekend... fortunately monday is my last day and then I'll be free. Tuesday is gonna suck... I gotta be to school by 7am... good thing I'm a morning person and my SAT score is that important, or it would never happen.

School....soon.... But I don't mind, I actually kind of like school. It means I'll get to see all my friends from all over town on a daily basis. Although being a junior and having mondo amounts of homework is never good, esp. with an AP class and one that's just as hard. I'm going boating with the rest of the Arand family clan on monday for my cousin's birthday... hope it's not boring... then again boating is rarely boring, so that's good. I saw 4 Brothers the other night, it's a pretty good movie. Alot better than another Detroit located film, Presinct 13, which has people spewing cuss words every 3 seconds. Nothing else is going on... seagull.

School in a week and a half. For some reason, I don't mind that... something to do with being able to quit work. Lifeguarding is good pay, but watching paint dry is more exciting. Yell at the Monkey (an independent cinamatography org. formed by my friends and me) is beginning work on another movie soon. We also plan some more spoof commercials. If anyone knows of a site where i could get such clips hosted i'd link it ot my xanga for all to enjoy.

Going out of town on Friday. Apparently my family is going to the southwest: Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, 4 Corners and all that mumbo jumbo. I think I'm going to drop my Xanga account pretty soon, I just don't see too much of a point to it. Especially once school starts, then I won't have time for anything... crazy Junior Year.

Just got back from my sadly brief sojourn in Mansfield, thanks to the overwhelming hospitality of Dan and the Mears family. Had a great time, saw a bunch of people I knew from grade school at St. Pete's including Angelo and Kelsey B.

I went on my first college visit on Monday. It was interesting. I went to UC (Univ. of Cincy) and I was quite impressed. Alot of the colleges at UC are not that great, but I'm interested in being an architect and UC's college of architechture is #2 in the nation. Regardless, I was still a little shaken by how fast this is all comeing at me.

Fantastic 4 sucks... reallly, it does... really. Seriously, whoever wrote the diologe for that movie must have been George Lucas' twin brother or something (congrats if you got that one). Anyway, not much happening. Work, make money, rinse, repeat. I'm thinking about writing a movie script, but I dunno if I have the drive. It would somehow be a spoof on Matchstick Men©, called Pumpkinstick Men. I'll keep brainstorming, maybe something will come up.

Oh, and BTW... I actually am reading that big scary book up there, it's for AP US History... ugh.
